Cassadaga Nightmare Hotel started with a simple idea:

I’ve always believed horror should feel real — not just loud. It should build. It should breathe. It should make you question what you just saw out of the corner of your eye.

What began as a passion for Halloween and immersive storytelling grew into something much bigger. I didn’t want to create just another haunted house. I wanted to build an experience that people talk about all year. Something detailed. Something layered. Something that feels alive the moment you walk through the doors.

Every room inside Cassadaga Nightmare Hotel is designed with intention. From lighting and sound to actor movement and pacing, I’m hands-on in the creative process. I study how guests move, where they hesitate, what makes them laugh, and what makes them freeze. Horror isn’t random — it’s engineered.

Cassadaga itself inspires a lot of what we do. The mystery. The history. The idea that energy lingers. That feeling of being watched. We lean into that atmosphere and build stories around it.

But at the heart of it, this isn’t just about scares.

It’s about creating something unforgettable for our community. It’s about giving people a place to escape, scream, laugh, and make memories. It’s about pushing ourselves every season to raise the bar higher than the year before.
